Vibrant
Vibrant is a high speed arena shooter that delivers fast paced action and fresh gameplay with abstract visuals. Swirl around, collect stuff, use your boost and destroy the enemies.
Note that it needs a few minutes until you get used to the controls…
However as soon as you race elegantly through the arena you will notice that it’s a blast to play.
Home Sheep Home 2
Home Sheep Home 2 is a charming single screen puzzle platformer where you have to guide three different sheep (small, medium, big) through various landscapes. Collect socks and make use of your environment to solve the puzzles.
If you want to see how the game looks in action consider to check out this video walkthrough that shows the entire “Lost in London” episode (which can be played for free online).
Trine 2
Trine 2 is an amazing physics based 2.5D platformer where you control three different characters: a wizard (magical powers to move objects), a knight (sword & shield) and a thief (grappling hook & bow and arrow). Beside local co-op the game also features online co-op for up to three players.
Tiny & Big: Grandpa’s Leftovers
Tiny & Big: Grandpa’s Leftover is a physics based third person platformer with a sandbox attitude. Make use of your ray cutter to slice rocks like butter and then pull them around with your grappling hook.
The game will be released in early 2012 (according to the latest trailer) but you can already check out the demo which is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
OIO
OIO is a 2.5D platformer with a pretty fresh plant growing mechanic. So basically you wander through well designed fantasy levels, collect orbs and scrolls, and throw seeds at green plants to make them sprout beams. Jump on these beams to reach higher grounds or use them to solve puzzles in the later levels…
An overall really enjoyable platforming experience.
In total the game offers 12 levels and I think that it takes around 2-3 hours to finish it. Consider to check it out by yourself or watch a playthrough of OIO on YouTube.
