Super Mario Bros. Crossover
Super Mario Bros. Crossover is an extremely faithful tribute to the classic Super Mario Bros. and many other games from the NES era. A great mashup that is basically SMB but with the option to play through the game with various classic characters such as Mega Man, Link (Zelda), Bill (Contra), Samus (Metroid), Simon Belmont (Castlevania) and Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden).
The game simply plays and looks really authentic.
Everything fits together perfectly and it’s obvious that this creation is a labour of love!
Awesome Work!
Mystical Ninji DX
Mystical Ninji DX is an interesting platformer that happens to be a unique Mario fan game.
The game takes a somewhat different approach both graphical and gameplay wise:
The characters and the game world itself look like if they were taken from darker universe of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Another thing that sets the game apart is the fact that it features gameplay mechanics from different platformers.
Your bare hands act as your standard weapon but you will also collect many other weapons such as a boomerang cross, kerosene, bombs, hammers, darts etc.
Castlevania – The Bloodletting
Castlevania – The Bloodletting is a faithful tribute to the Castlevania series. It’s certainly one of the most polished Castlevania fan games around. It almost feels like a real Castlevania title with it’s 2 years in development.
