Strife creates his games with MMF 1.5.
He is currently working on 2 nice projects:
a nice looking old school platformer called Jade Phoenix and an action rpg called FableQuest.
He has also made some smaller games in the years 2003-2004 but bear in mind that only the download link to Star Angel is working. All others have expired on TDC.
Moreover this video shows 7 of his older games.
Games in Development:
Jade Phoenix. (platformer – 2009)
FableQuest (action rpg – 2009)
Completed Games:
Star Angel (omnidirectional shooter – 2003)
Alien Conflict (arcade – 2003)
Thin Ice (arcade – 2004)
Canceled Games:
Astro Dude (action platformer – 2004)
Okay, good news and bad news.
Bad news, Project Moonchild has been officially dropped. Don’t expect it anytime soon, or even ever.
Good news, the developer is working on a new game very similar to this one, titled Momodora. And at least Momodora has a demo available.
@Dr. Manic
thanks for the info.

Thank you for including ZOMGIndie on your list! That’s really awesome. An awesome list of some great sites as well.
Thank you for mentioning us, we would of couse prefer another category, but we can’t run from the fact.
I’ll put a link on my site!
Reminds me of that one level of Rayman 2 where you sit in the chair and revolve to avoid obstacles.
Amazing article!
I’m trying to spread Indie Word in Italy through this forum thread: http://forum.gamesvillage.it/showthread.php?819536-1-Indie-anapolis. Please, check it out! It is very young but I believe it has some worth.
I have released an updated version with more levels and lots of improvments! Sorry, no online anymore.
Great game.
You know the next-slot in Tetris? I think this game could benefit from a next-slot for the enemies so you see them before the crash-land on your head up there.
http://rpgmaker.net/
Yeah, the website mainly consist of RPG Maker games. Say whatever you want about that, but they still got em games, and I assume they are still considered indie, whatever that means
@exitplanetdust
That is a relly nice thread! Great work! Added it :)
@Randomasta
thanks for the info. Added it as well.
What a fantastic graphical overhaul that’s gone through! Looks much more like a proper Professional game, now. (compared to your earlier screenshots)
This could easily sit alongside the classic Mascot-Platformers of the time.
*update*
new site added:
Blue Flash’s Freeware Games Blog
reminds me a bit of Ainevoltas 2.
update on the games progress plz?
I feel bad saying it but man, ninety-percent of indie games are the same general game with different art.
That said I really like the art direction of this one, it’s cute.
Finally, a shmup with mouse control! Rare stuff. And looks fun too!
@danyukhin
If you like mouse controls i recommend to check these games out :)

The game is released! I’m not sure how to get it put in as a ‘released’ thing instead of as a… uh, as an indev demo thing!
Another A-Z Games List containing only remakes of previously released commercial titles, all included games are freeware, this is a sister thread to the retro remakes one you already have included.
The Retro clones/remakes A-Z list, is available linked below :-

I love Cave Story-esque games.
The “game” that was being done in 3d. Was never actually programmed… They were just model renditions that they were showing.
How did you make this game. Game Maker?
the game was made with game maker.
A great list. Thank you for putting in the effort to compile it.
