Okay, good news and bad news.
Bad news, Project Moonchild has been officially dropped. Don’t expect it anytime soon, or even ever.
Good news, the developer is working on a new game very similar to this one, titled Momodora. And at least Momodora has a demo available.
@Dr. Manic
thanks for the info.

Thank you for including ZOMGIndie on your list! That’s really awesome. An awesome list of some great sites as well.
Thank you for mentioning us, we would of couse prefer another category, but we can’t run from the fact.
I’ll put a link on my site!
Reminds me of that one level of Rayman 2 where you sit in the chair and revolve to avoid obstacles.
Amazing article!
I’m trying to spread Indie Word in Italy through this forum thread: http://forum.gamesvillage.it/showthread.php?819536-1-Indie-anapolis. Please, check it out! It is very young but I believe it has some worth.
I have released an updated version with more levels and lots of improvments! Sorry, no online anymore.
Great game.
You know the next-slot in Tetris? I think this game could benefit from a next-slot for the enemies so you see them before the crash-land on your head up there.
http://rpgmaker.net/
Yeah, the website mainly consist of RPG Maker games. Say whatever you want about that, but they still got em games, and I assume they are still considered indie, whatever that means
@exitplanetdust
That is a relly nice thread! Great work! Added it :)
@Randomasta
thanks for the info. Added it as well.
What a fantastic graphical overhaul that’s gone through! Looks much more like a proper Professional game, now. (compared to your earlier screenshots)
This could easily sit alongside the classic Mascot-Platformers of the time.
*update*
new site added:
Blue Flash’s Freeware Games Blog
reminds me a bit of Ainevoltas 2.
update on the games progress plz?
I feel bad saying it but man, ninety-percent of indie games are the same general game with different art.
That said I really like the art direction of this one, it’s cute.
Finally, a shmup with mouse control! Rare stuff. And looks fun too!
@danyukhin
If you like mouse controls i recommend to check these games out :)

Great list, i’ll be sure to check out a lot of those sites for a good dose of indie games!.
@Dusan
I just noticed that you have a new neat little site…
“One Video Game a Day” added ;)
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/541803
The game is released! I’m not sure how to get it put in as a ‘released’ thing instead of as a… uh, as an indev demo thing!
Another A-Z Games List containing only remakes of previously released commercial titles, all included games are freeware, this is a sister thread to the retro remakes one you already have included.
The Retro clones/remakes A-Z list, is available linked below :-

I love Cave Story-esque games.
The “game” that was being done in 3d. Was never actually programmed… They were just model renditions that they were showing.
How did you make this game. Game Maker?
the game was made with game maker.
A great list. Thank you for putting in the effort to compile it.
damn thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Hi there, here is O Ilusionista, creator of PDC.
About the Megaman voice, its because every char has the voice pitched up, to be like a child.
The Play Indie Games is brazilian blog, no portugal.
Thanks!
http://abscure.net
I’m not really sure what this goes under… it has a blog but is mostly a portfolio. If it is too small (or unknown) to be on this, I understand.
this game is currently a copyright of media molocules littlebigplanet beta called yellowhead and can be fined if notified!!!!!!

A list of Solitaire games. My favourite is PySol.
Thanks for the link to JustOneMoreGame!
I hadn’t seen this page before, but it’s a ‘must bookmark’. Great stuff!
is Download??
It does look interesting. Two ninja chicks who are thick at the botton and have a nice rack fighting off waves or random “bad” guys in a dark brick room.
Reminds me of a hentai game minus the hentai.
What games are the dwarf and the girl Xdda from? I can’t remember.
what song is that in the first level?
Okay, better news: Momodora is now finished. And it’s awesome.
Really impressive!

I think that’s gonna cover indie games.
It’s gonna be host by makers of OMG Ubuntu!
Well I’m excited for this. Maybe for once, I can play a Star Fox game as amazingly great as the 64 version.
@krisu
thanks for the tip!
i will add the site after it’s launch (provided that it’s a good one… but due to the fact that is from the guys behind omg ubuntu it will most likely be)
http://indiegamers.ru/ – new site (from Russia).
I just “voten” :D Hope the game comes out, it looks awesome!

Wow, another great all-you-can eat tipsfest.
Great stuff, PP.
Great list, thanks!
We made a one-slide presentation on Promotion for Indies at this year’s No More Sweden Game Jam:
http://www.spacesofplay.com/2010/07/no-more-sweden-2010
This is fantastic. I love the music. I love the humor. It looks funny to play (currently downloading…) and the graphics are great! This is – honestly – Super Nintendo at its best!
Jot
Awesome!
Awesome! Thanks for voting!!
i think i’ve seen this video like over 5 year ago maybe?

@leonalchemist
I just checked the status of this game and it is still in development :)

This game is hilarious and has some nice gimicks. Very cool.
There is now a new video up on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJ82tBzJM0o
The game isn’t dead – just comatose.
Nice!
Thanks for the info :)
Where has THIS been!?
oh my, this is sooooo niice. the effects… stunning :o
I have to be honest.. It looks kind of boring. :(
Which is a shame because the art itself is done pretty well. But the movements just don’t feel right. Her run is more like a hop and skip than anything and everything has a sort of chunky rubber-band feel. Which can work when used here and there, but on everything it just seems.. Odd, unresponsive. That and the music was pretty lame for a boss fight with a big chain-gun-tusked mastodon. :(
lovely!
Wow! What the? Never seen before! Thats amazing.
it look to good… maybe to good…
great artists
Animation brings to mind Psygnosis games of old
And like the Psygnosis games of old, it looks sort of awkward to play.
This game looks fabulous. I want to play it just based on the art. This game NEEDS to be released.
awesome game man. I don’t care about what the previous posters on here said, Waluigi rocks and if this the closest I can get to playing a game with just him in it, so be it. He needs his own game afterall. love the concept to by the way, keep up the good work. :)
Hey, there’s another one from Brazil. http://www.indiejogos.com.br
Based on TIGSource, the proposal is to help developing Indiegames in Brazil, creating a community where everyone helps everyone.
Tks
I found many interesting games.
Thanks
