There are things I absolutely love about this game, like the character design, world graphics, and abundant, colorful special effects, but there is even more that I dislike.
* The enemy fire appears unavoidable – the game has to either give the player ample warning and a grace period before firing a speedy projectile at him/her, or slow the projectile down.
* The enemies are really dark and blend into the background in darker areas. You have to make them stand out somehow – either lighten the background, or lighten/saturate the enemy sprites.
* Among all the special effects are hard to tell what does and doesn’t hurt you. This will take some trial and error I guess, but you need to address that issue, as it can become quite frustrating.
* Excessive antialiasing. Not sure if you can make the game look crisper and less washed out.
