Pylo Noveau is an extremely polished platform shooter with RPG elements in which you control a little dragon.
The game has top notch graphics, fine animations, smooth controls, great level design, funny dialogue, fine gameplay variation…and even the music is nice!
It also pays a lot of attention to the details: the energy bar that drops pieces, the crystal system, the RPG elements, the level up function etc…simply awesome!
The current demo features the complete first world with 4 levels + 2 levels from the second world.
The full version will have a total of 5 worlds each with 4 levels (+secret level).
Controls:
Cursor Keys = Movement
A = Jump
S = Shoot
D = Use Elemental Power
W = Select Fire Level
Moreover:
Before Pylo Noveau there was Pylo Oldeau.

Reminds me of Kirby, haha.
Nice game.
Looks to be very professionally made – sadly a rarity for a GM project.
It reminds me of Kirby too, with a little Mario on it.
I have to say it’s prerty hard, the checkpoints aren’t that frequent, but very nice game, love the graphics and the control is spot on!.
It looks very detailed: all those little sparks, smokes, the multi-flame dying of some enemies, the lifebar falling down… I can see that each pixel has been carefully put. And playability looks very smooth too.
Haha, I thought of both Mario and Kirby as well. This game easily could’ve been a professionally made one.
A dash of kirby here, a dash of yoshi’s story there, that is a recipe for success if I ever saw one. Beautiful graphics and the tunes are catchy enough. This game is very promising indeed. :)
It plays well but it copies a bit too many elements from Super Mario World 1&2. The climbable nets, the backgrounds on level 1-2, the moving platforms (the way they look, naturally), the pipes, the platforms that appear when you press buttons, the boss on level 1-1, etc. As I said, it’s very nice, but by the end of the very first level it sort of felt as if they had run out on original ideas.
My god. nice sweet game! love it. And who is your composer. I am very fond of your soundtrack (classic!!!). Please send me a mail: iamjot@gmail.com . cheers Jot
The art for this is so awesome! For some reason, it reminds me a lot of Croc, back on Sega Saturn (one of my favorite games ever). Keep up the good work! I’m not even good at platformers and I’m super-psyched about this!
I’m totally tempted to draw you up some screen/box art for this fun looking game – the characters just pop out at me. Send me an email at lost_unit@hotmail.com if you’d like some :) examples can be found at the website attached to this post.
