The Legend Of Zelda 3D Project

The Legend Of Zelda 3D Project

The Legend Of Zelda 3D Project is a fan game with a similar graphical style to the DS Zelda Games.
The developer said that he “don’t want to do Fangames anymore” and that he “know it would be easy to change models to another and use this engine for another game.”

It would be nice if this project would evolve into an original game cause the engine feels pretty good so far. I think it would be much more worthwhile that way.
As you can see from the gameplay video there isn’t much gameplay yet…
But its already interesting enough to give it a try.

Update:
A new demo has just been released. It features a higher resolution of 800×600 instead of the previous 256×192.
The developer needs some feedback how fast the game runs on different machines and how high the framerate is (in the lower left the actual framerate is been showcased).

Play as Link, Deku and Goron.
Link can run, jump and lift/throw objects.
Deku can swirl around and shoot.
Goron can roll around and lift/throw objects.

Controls:

As usual cursor keys for movement.
Change character by pressing C and V.
Lift/throw objects with Z and jump/attack with space.
Change level by pressing 1 and 2.

Also:
The source code is already released so anyone can contribute to this project i assume.
