So you just want to record something quickly and easily without installing or downloading anything?
Then i recommend to check out Screenr because it runs in your browser and you can start recording immediately by simply pressing the record button.
Note that you won’t get the same results as with the programs i recommended over at

Excuse me, I tried using Screenr and it said that I didn’t have Java, when I certainly do.

Hmm… maybe restarting the PC will solve the problem? If not consider to go to their help section and ask there.

This isn’t the BEST software. You get only 5 minutes. With Screencast you get up to 15 minutes. I don’t wotk for them or anything, this is just based off of my experience. Just to let you know.

So is a Twitter account required to download your recording at all, or is it JUST for MP4 format?
